The application is virtualized using Microsoft App-V, so the system administrators had some difficulties troubleshooting the application.<\/p>\n<p>Users launching the application saw the App-V progressbar loading the application.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"Launching FileMaker Pro\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Launching FileMaker Pro\" src=\"https:\/\/ingmarverheij.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/Cordaan-Desktop-1024x768-Citrix-Presentation-Server-Client_2011-06-01_16-55-05.png\" width=\"204\" height=\"23\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And a few seconds later receiving an message that the application is closed, without seeing any applicaion on the screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"Closing FileMaker Pro\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Closing FileMaker Pro\" src=\"https:\/\/ingmarverheij.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/Cordaan-Desktop-1024x768-Citrix-Presentation-Server-Client_2011-06-01_16-55-08.png\" width=\"204\" height=\"23\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since the users noticed that IE6 was upgraded tot IE8, they assumed that was the problem. When the Flexplan application was launched by an Administrator, the application does work. So the second though was a permission problem.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When the FlexPlan application was launched using the OSD file, the following error was displayed:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"The application failed tot initialize properly (0xc06d007e). Click on OK to terminate the application.\" src=\"https:\/\/ingmarverheij.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/Cordaan-Desktop-1024x768-Citrix-Presentation-Server-Client-SpeedScreen-On_2011-06-01_16-35.png\" width=\"549\" height=\"120\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After a quick search on the Citrix support site I found article <a href=\"https:\/\/support.citrix.com\/article\/CTX125004\">CTX125004<\/a> describing the same error message and&#160; attached hotfix PSE450R06W2K3001.
